Ejoying life

Life is Good!

I know sometimes we all have hard moments and that

you just have to take a breath and stop to see things in 

a better distant perspective but essentially, life is

 Goodness and I am sure you agree!

My move was a bit hard this time, I never had so many things

 as I do now, my art studio and my music studio are

 in my home and they hold a lot of stuff but slowly

I am getting there and mostly, I am enjoying the process, 

seriously, one can have it as one decides and I decided to have 

a good time and enjoy every piece of it, being meticulously about 

were to put things but when I started painting

I couldn`t find anything! I still have to remember were things are!

Still needs work but I had to take a brake and have some rest and paint 

a little yesterday, it`s amazing how much I missed it!  Here is a little peek

 into how it`s coming along, still some boxes here and there...

The good part of this process was:

1. Removing all the unused and old stuff
2. renovate furniture and clean deeply
3. finding things I forgot I had and are super cool!
4. being able to recycle old canvases, journals, papers, etc...
5. Finding old unfinished projects and ideas!
6. Regrouping things that go together, like pencils, charcoals, acrylics, etc.
7. Finding new ways to use my furniture
8. removing all the cluster!!

Haaaa!, feels good now that it`s almost done! :D

My kitty is also adapting to her new home, the new noises and places to hide

and sleep, it`s a lot of fun for her too but sometimes scary so I had 

(and loved) to pet her a lot but she`s a brave girl as well, she`s now in an 

adventure checking out my neighbour`s roofs, I just hope they like cats,

I know they like humans so far!

This are one of the forgotten projects, I did a watercolor  painting of this doll

 and made some fabric dolls, they were meant to be sold but I forgot about it!

I should put them in my Etsy! 

All this inspired me to paint and draw about how I feel 

about my home and what it means to me 

and did some sketches, I love this one...

And did a painting about it too, I am naming it 

"A Home For The Soul" 

I love how she`s coming to life, it is resting now for a little and did

 some loosening up exercises yesterday from my class with this faces,

I had a lot of fun but they were finished in the dark so this morning

I find them too yellowish, I might go back to them later...

I believe one can be happy anytime, it`s a decision one makes, at the end,

it`s only your self who decides how to feel no matter the circumstances,

and to be responsible for your happiness, be happy just now!

Birds Paradise

This little guy inspired this new painting, it`s like a little tribute to him, 

my kitty, following it`s wild nature captured it, the tiny bird somehow

entered my house through the only open window, which was a super 

tiny window, I think so because I can`t find  other explanation, when 

I came home, it was already inside and the kitty already grabbed it...

I tried to make him feel better and took him back to the tree, it hold for some time 

but then just felt down, I don`t want to tell more but he was on my studio table

 for some time and then passed away, of course, this was a sad thing for me!

 I painted this thinking about a heaven were he would be flying happy and 

with other beautiful birds, it was so tiny  and beautiful as you can see on

 the photo, this is the first time I could come super close to a bird that wouldn`t

just fly away, a sad story, a real story, too real for me but somehow it came to me!

I like my painting, it`s colorful and simple, like I should be all the time,

if I just could paint my soul every morning like this, I would!

Fly Love over the stones of life,

fly Hope towards my dreams,

fly Trust and believe,

fly and look, look amazed

to the beauty of this land.

Spring is blooming!

I`ve been painting everyday this month, I am approaching my work

in different ways, you could say I am more open to let it happen, it`s

hard to remove pressure and just enjoy when I make pieces like this

but this time I was able to do it! I am so happy because this is a huge

step for me, it`s not that I don`t enjoy the process but I`ve noticed it`s

hard for me to let go of expectations, being patient with my self and 

this mean I am growing up in this area and I feel happy for it!

Awaken

This fairy is looking straight at us, like she knows something we don`t,

I like that, she`s named awaken for that!  All colors are super soft and in

real life you can see some of the pencil lines below wich I love!

"Blooming Nature"

I want to clebrate that spring is  coming, the trees are begining to show tiny 

leaves and the brezee is warmer each day, soon I will have to take out my

spring wardrobe and sandals for it gets super hot here, like the fairy up here

in her cute pink dress, I enjoy changing wardrobes a lot!

I love kitties!

Kitties are so much fun, I`ve had many in my life and they have

been very special to me!  I have been painting a few of them and I 

found the photos this morning so I decided to share with you today!

I love the colors on this one!

I love realistic paintings but whimsical characters make me happier!

 I`ve tried different colors and shapes and my sweet heart named this one

 "The kitty avatar" of course you can see why! Lol!

My favorite now, the one I adopted over the shelter, she`s adorable and so big 

and heavy now, she`s always trying to steal something from my art table and

picking on my other kitty, who is older and so peaceful, they sure keep me busy! Lol!

D you have pets? Aren`t they a very important part of us? I would feel like

something was missing without them wouldn`t you?   >ºº<

Listening to Harmony

How can we appreciate things without change?

Changing and accepting change is a lesson to be

learned sooner or later and it comes to me that it is a natural

 process and that I should always let it happen, I suddenly find 

myself in a forced situation when I try to keep things the same

way, it`s a lot harder to try to stay the same and sometimes

it`s even impossible!

So I let change happen, what I notice is that I grow

because of it, experience new things and some are

even more rewarding, the learning process of understanding

how to be happier is fascinating don`t you think?

I usually talk a lot about Harmony and that it is work to stay in

tune with it but it`s only because we have learned to be the 

other way and we find it easier but the truth is that is easier

to live in harmony, of course this is easier to say than to actually

live it, takes a lot of study and self observation and the will

to get there and sometimes we simply just don`t know how.

Meditation is a wonderful tool, keep silence for a little while

be in that empty peacefully space and relax...

Do this often and you will find it necessary to have it!

There most be places near you were you can find a meditation

group if you want to learn more but you can simply lay down and

let your inner self guide you, listen to it and find your own way

to peace!  I like to listen to soft music as I do this!

Yes, we all have troubles and doubts, fears and tiny or huge unsolved

issues but we can have the benefit of our good tools as well, 

we have many and they are for everyone!

Will is the most powerful one, the only tool that will actually 

take you anywhere you desire!

Only will has the power to bring you to Harmony!

Listen to your amazing self and let the beauty in you be!

That`s all we have to do!

Journey...

The intelligence behind life is so exact we could miss it if we do not pay attention!

I recently said good bye to miss sweet sister who came to visit me and this time 

I could see why she is in my life, having her point of view completely enriches mine

 and helps me let go of doubts, fears and other unnecessary stuff and I love this!  

Yes, some friends are also there like if they were angels, as I said earlier, 

life is wiser than what we sometimes can completely realize!

I`ve made this painting in appreciation of those who are special companions in our lives,
those people that walk along our path and make us feel good and appreciated,

this angels that agreed to come to the earth when we did and that  are there for us and we for them!

The journey wouldn`t be the same without them and we should be grateful for them!

It is a true blessing to be able to share with someone close and specially to those who

always give you a nice warm feedback, we all need that wouldn`t you agree?

I hope you like this new painting, what I like the most is how my sister and I look 

like the dolls, I think because of the hair, it was funny to see my sister reaction

 to her cartoon and recognizing us!  

I also hope you have a special someone in your life that holds you often!

That is the best gift ever! 

The bird of life

Many things influence us in our individual lives,

there are many things coming to us each day,

some inspire us, some brake us down, some

even will change us!

I believe life is a gift and a challenge as well,

life is for the brave!

*

People around you tell you many tings about your self

and others, about life and how it should be,

fortunately, we can choose to believe them and

let them affect the way you see your self or even others

or you can decide who you want to be in spite of it all

and honor who you want to be!

It`s hard to be your self and stay true!

Everything around you will prove you wrong

but you can use that confronting force to become stronger!

To be true, you have to constantly define and re-define your self,

what it works for you and what should be left in the past, this changes

with the years of course!

Life is the same to everyone but we all interpret it differently,

each mind is finding it`s own way but to live better, like we all want, takes a

process, sometimes  it`s a happy process, some times a painful process,

but at the end it is sure that we all will leave here understanding more of it,
wich will be better for future generations, will make
better beings, ones that enjoy even more life which I think
 is the ultimate purpose of life!

Embracing the new year!

Love is the source of all things, 

there is no doubt about it,

when we are kind enough to see things

through the eyes of Goodness, those same

things become different, they become beautiful,

they become Love...

 I want to call this new painting "Seeing through the window of LOVE", this will

remind me to see things with this perspective, I`ve read Neale Donald`s Walsh

book "Conversations with God" that when in doubt about what to do, think of what 

love would do...  I love that! and so this painting is to remind me to do so the entire year!

I found some wonderful sales at the art store and gave my self some great

presents for my birthday, like this mixed media book I used for this painting and 

some sketch books I could`t resist!  I am loving to draw a lot more each day,

right now I feel happy with were I am and feel with a lot of possibilities!

We are always presented with challenges and opportunities and it`s always

exciting to begin a new year, this time I want to embrace this one with a feel

of openness, this time I don`t feel like having resolutions to follow and feel obligated

to follow them or feel bad for not accomplish them, this time I am giving

my self permission to go with the flow!

I hope you are excited starting a new cycle, I wish you have amazing things

happening to you, may you be truly blessed and happy the entire year and
